UNIBANK donates 100,000 cedis to Nana Aba Anamoah and Sandra Ankobiah

Celebrated journalist Nana Aba Anamoah and lawyer Sandra Ankobiah have secured their first blood of money since being appointed ambassadors for women football in the country.

Nana Aba, a multiple award winning journalist who has worked on several platforms in the country alongside celebrity lawyer Sandra Ankobiah teamed up to come to the rescue of women football in the country.

Well they have moved fast to secure their first cash by getting Unibank to give them 100,000 Ghana cedis to help the crippling conditions of women football in Ghana.

Presenting the cheque, Executive director, Finance, Retail and Strategy, Ekow Nyarko Dadzie-Dennis at Unibank said:

‘Unibank believes in the development of sports. This is a token to show our commitment to the 3 national women’s teams. We hope to commit more to the teams in the nearest future and urge others to assist in raising funds for them’

Nana Aba and Sandra expressed gratitude to the bank and urged other corporate institutions to emulate.

Present at the presentation were the legal director and deputy accountant of the sports ministry.

This money will be used to start preparations for the Africa women championship to come off later this year.
