USL side DC Power Football Club has announced the signing of Black Queens deputy captain and midfielder Jennifer Cudjoe, pending league and federation approval.
The 30-year-old brings extensive experience, having played professionally for eight years.
Cudjoe started her career with Hasaacas Ladies in the Ghana Women’s Premier League in 2006.
Jennifer Cudjoe joins Power FC after a remarkable 2023/24 season with FC Nordsjælland in Denmark’s top division, where she made 17 appearances and contributed to the club’s Danish League title and 2023 Danish Cup victory.
Prior to her time in Denmark, Cudjoe played for NJ/NY Gotham FC (formerly Sky Blue FC) in the NWSL from 2020 to 2022.
She debuted in the 2020 NWSL Challenge Cup, appearing in all six matches with four starts.
Jennifer Cudjoe's impressive performances earned her a multi-year contract in August 2020. Before moving to Denmark, she made 20 appearances for Gotham FC.
Jennifer Cudjoe is likely to make her debut in DC Power FC's game against Tampa Bay Sun FC on August 24, 2024.
