Uganda defender Isaac Isinde exudes confidence

Uganda defender Isaac Isinde says that they are not afraid of the Black Stars’ skipper Asmaoah Gyan going into the Saturday game in Kumasi.

Isinde who is expected to start alongside skipper Andrew Mwesigwa in central defence for the Cranes, said Asamoah is just an ordinary player and nothing really special.

The defender who features for Ethiopian League champions St. George emphasized that they need to believe in themselves and play as a team in order to get a result against Ghana.

Asamoah netted two goals in the 2014 FIFA World Cup including one during the 2-2 draw against eventual champions Germany in the Group stage.

He currently features for Al Ain in the UAE Pro-League V.

In the absence of University of Pretoria striker Geoffrey Massa who was ruled out of the game because the club could only release him on Wednesday, AS Vita’s Yunus Junior Ssentamu could have the chance to play alongside Brian Umoby who was top scorer at the recent Cecafa Kagame Club Championship in Rwanda.
