Uganda falls to Niger in warm up game

Uganda's Cranes fell 2-0 to home side Niger in a buildup match played in Niamey this evening that also saw captain Andy Mwesigwa get a red card.
Cranes coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic saw his boys concede two goals in a space of eight minutes in the first half.
The Cranes net shook as early as the 10th minute when Kamilou Daouda’s long range shot caught goalkeeper Robert Odongkara off guard for the hosts to take the lead.
Brian Umony and Yunus Sentamu fluffed scoring opportunities for the Cranes.
The second goal was netted by Issiakou Koudizé in the 18th minute.
Both coaches used the match to fine tune their players ahead of this weekend’s 2015 Nations cup qualifiers-Cranes playing Ghana and Niger taking on Cape Verde.
