Uganda newspaper says Kotoko SCARED to sack David Duncan

Ugandan media Ugandan media

Renowned Ugandan website KAWOWO has joined the list of those ridiculing Asante Kotoko, by stating the club is afraid to sack the underperforming coach David Duncan.

According to the website the board of directors of the club don't have the guts to tell the former Hearts of Oak coach that his services are no longer needed.

Because they may be drawn into a possible legal tussle which they're keen to avoid hence the step aside and not sack.

"They are afraid to tell him because the damages are serious. When Hearts of Oak sacked him two years back, he became a millionaire, his lawyer is top-class, and he doesn’t joke at all," an insider told the website.

The management of Kotoko asked David Duncan to 'step aside' following a string of poor results in the ongoing Ghana premier league.

However the coach has been adamant to leave, insisting there is no 'Step aside' in his contract.
