Monaco defender, Mohammed Salsu has expressed that he had a memorable UEFA Champions League debut after guiding his side to a win over Barcelona.

Salisu was phenomenal at the back for Monaco as they beat the Spanish giant 2-1 at the Stade Louis II.

The Ghanaian, who made his first-ever appearance on the night, took to Instagram to share his delight and acknowledged the fans.

"An unforgettable Champions League debut in front of our incredible fans!! The atmosphere was electric, driving us on to secure the win. Let’s carry this momentum into the weekend!" he wrote.

Mohammed Salisu gave an incredible performance that night. He had the most touches (70), most long passes completed (8), most duels won (7), most clearances (4), most interceptions (2) and won more duels (7) in the game.

The Black Stars centre half ended the game with a 7.4 rating by FotMob.
