Upper West Black Stars Supporters congratulate Nyantakyi

Wa, Jan 1, GNA- The Upper West Chapter of the National Black Stars Supporters Union on Sunday congratulated Mr. Kwesi Nyantakyi for emerging as the new President of Ghana football Association (GFA). A statement signed by Messrs Mohaideen Sungmanbo and George-Ramsey Benamba, Chairman and Publicity Secretary of the Union copied to the GNA Sports said "we particularly congratulate Nyantakyi for keeping the fort up to now and eventually taking over the matle".

It added that, "for the confidence reposed in him by the voters, it is our hope that skilful as he is, his term of office will witness tremendous changes in Ghana's soccer administration". The statement also appealed to the newly elected chairman to operate with an open-door leadership that would create very little or no room for negative criticisms.

The Union also appealed to all members of the GFA, the Ministry of Education and Sports and all the administrators to support "the youngest GFA Chairman to lay his expertise and experience towards the development of soccer in the country.
