Uwasi win feok festival cup

Overlord of the Builsa Traditional Area, Naab Azaasuk Azantilow II has challenged the youth to take to sports as a career and to also keep fit. According to him, sports, especially football has become a very meaningful career and its benefits are extremely enormous. The Paramount Chief made the remark at this year's Builsa Feok Festival Annual Fun games in Sandema. Organised by the Concerned Youth in Feok Fun games with support from Authentic Sports, the event brought together twelve teams from twelve communities in the Builsa Traditional Area. They include, Wiaga, Sandema, Kadema, Chuchuliga, Siniensi, Bachonsa, Fumbisi, Weisi, Uwasi, Kanjaga, Gbedema and Doningaa. Uwasi defeated Fumbisi in the finals by a lone goal at the Sandema stadium to lift the giant trophy at stake. Latex foam products were presented to other players who endeared themselves throughout the tournament. The CEO of Authentic Sports, Listowell Yesu Bukarson who also graced the games called on corporate Ghana to invest in the development of sports in rural Ghana. According to Mr Bukarson, former Public Relations and Marketing Manager of Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC, a lot of talent abound in the hinterlands in this country. These talents he opined sadly remain untapped and mostly go waist.

He commended Latex Foam Robber Products Limited for their unflinching support towards sponsoring sports in the rural areas and called on other corporate institutions to emulate the shining social support by Latex Foam.

The Deputy Upper East Regional Minister, Mr. Daniel Sym, Deputy Interior Minister And MP for Builsa North Mr. James Agalga, District Chief Executives for Builsa North and South and the 2013 winner of Ghana's Most Beautiful Poka, took turns to present Latex Foam products to deserving players.
