Ghanaian champions AshantiGold have first leg advantage after beating ten-man Algerian side MO Bejaia 1-0 in the CAF Champions League first round qualifier.
Midfielder Nuhu Fuseini cleverly picked out right back Joshua Tijani who had made his way into the box.
Tijani tucked the ball past goalkeeper Lamara Diaf for the game's only goal on 60 minutes.
After that, MO Bejaia had defender Adel Lakhadari sent off for a second yellow card.
