Veteran Ghanaian coach E.K Afranie has warned Sulley Muntari to guard against indiscipline at his new club Al Ittihad.
Muntari has been holding pre-season training with the Jeddah-based side at their camping base in Milan after completing a two-year deal last week.
The 30-year-old is well-known for his poor disciplinary record which has left him being frozen out of the national team.
He is currently serving an indefinite suspension after he attacked a former Black Stars management committee member, Moses Armah during a meeting to address an appearance fee row during the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
And experienced former Ghana coach E.K Afranie has urged the former AC and Inter Milan man to keep his cool in the gulf.
I am only hoping that he comports himself, disciplines himself and listens to his officials. He is a Muslim himself so I think that if he agrees with his own people, somebody might be his mentor there and he will control himself,” he told Accra-based Starr FM
“For the game, he is still good. He is not finished yet.”
