Embattled Napoli striker Victor Osimhen could end up in the Turkish Super Lig following his failed moves to Chelsea and Saudi Pro League side Al Ahli.

Italian outfit Corriere dello Sport reports that Galatasaray are considering the option of signing the 25-year-old on a dry loan, which will see the club cover the entirety of the player’s salary.

According to reports, negotiations between the two clubs are currently ongoing, with a meeting expected soon.

The Turkish transfer window remains open until September 13, giving Galatasaray enough time to finalize the deal for the Nigerian international.

Osimhen’s potential move to Stamford Bridge collapsed on transfer deadline day due to disagreements over personal terms.

Saudi-based Al Ahli also pulled out of the deal after Napoli changed their initial transfer fee for Osimhen.

The transfer controversy has resulted in a fallout between the player and the club, leading to Osimhen’s removal from the first team.

The reigning African Footballer of the Year has also been stripped of his number nine jersey, which has been handed to new signing Romelu Lukaku.
