Mustapha Kamoko, the third son of popular Ghanaian boxer, Bukom Banku, won his bout at the Diplo Rumble held at the Bukom Boxing Arena on May 4, 2024.
Mustapha Kamoko, also known as Bukom Machine, took on his opponent, Kwesi Tutu, in their undercard bout at the Diplo Rumble.
Bukom Machine dropped his opponent four times in their three-round duel.
Despite firing more jabs, Kamoko was reserved and precise with his heavy punches.
Two punches to the head of Tutu sent him down on the canvas in the first round.
Kamoko again floored his opponent in the second round with a couple of shots to his body, but again Tutu was able to beat the referee's count and continued with the bout.
The final blow to Tutu was a combination of three hooks which shook his body, and this time he gave up on the fight.
Mustapha Kamoko is the 3rd boxer to have come out of the stables of Bukom Banku.
Bukom Banku’s firstborn, Amando Kamoko, also started as a boxer but has currently put his boxing career on hold.
His second son, Abubakar Kamoko, who is a member of Ghana’s amateur boxing team, has emerged as a potential boxing champion.
Abubakar Kamoko, who is better known as Ambitious Tilapia, won silver for Ghana at the 2023 African Games hosted in Ghana.
Bukom Banku has a total of 13 children.
