Karim Bellarabi scored the opening goal for Eintracht Braunschweig in their 2-0 victory over VfL Wolfsburg in the German Bundesliga on Saturday.
It was a remarkable victory for the newly-promoted side as they had not beaten Wolfsburg in 28 years.
Bellarabi, 23, and on loan from Bayer Leverkusen scored in the 31st minute to open the scoring for his side.
It was a cool finish from close range after a Wolfsburg defender blocked a goal-bound effort from Braunschweig's Swiss attacker and Bellarabi popped up in the box to net his first ever goal of the season.
Ghana FA official have held talks in the past with Bellarabi father who is an ex-Ghanaian footballer.
Though he has represented the Europe country at youth, he might agree to switch his national to play for Ghana.
