Cape Coast, Mar. 8 GNA - Cape Coast Venomous Vipers whipped the football team of the New Hall of the University of Cape Coast 4-1 in a friendly soccer match at the University's sports grounds on Monday. Vipers led 2-1 at half time.
The New Hall team threw everything into attack in the second half and made frantic efforts to find the equaliser but to avail.
They continued to force Vipers to defend most of the time and twice came close to scoring but their forwards blasted off target.
The hopes of the students of finding the net were dashed when Vipers score two rapid goals through midfielder, Walters Mensah and inside right, Robert Bentil in the 70th and 75th minutes respectively to seal the doom of the students.
