WAFA SC failed to make home advantage count as they were held to a 0-0 draw by an improved but profligate Hearts of Oak side on Wednesday in the Ghana Premier League.

The Phobains were better and looked very convincing. Maybe they should have taken the lead in the 25th minute by WAFA captain Abukari Ibrahim threw himself onto a goal bound shot to deny them.

In the 55th minute, Marvin Owusu smashed his free kick at the edge of the Hearts box gainst the side post but will have to go to keeper Attah who applied his finger to the ball.

On the hour mark, Hearts of Oak responded with goalkeeper Ferdinand Acquah making another superlative save to deny Kojo Obeng Junior.

Hearts took charge of the midfield right from the blast of the whistle and were very comfortable.

However, they could not make their superiority count.
