Samaria Ladies suffered a 1-0 defeat to Police Ladies in the last game of the Ghana Women’s premier league’s Southern Zone.

In a keenly contested encounter at the McDan La Town Park, Samaria Ladies, the home side looked promising from the blast of the whistle as midfield gem, Jennifer Owusua started knocking on the doors of Police ladies very early in the game, but couldn’t bury most of the chances created.

A long-range cross from Juanita Aguadze was received by Eva Alice Danso in the 18yard box which she slotted home in the 37th minute, giving Police Ladies the lead.
