Asante Kotoko centre-back Wahab Adams has committed his future to the club as he signs a new contract which will keep him with the Porcupines until at least 2022.

Wahab Adams joined the Porcupines on a two-year deal in 2017 and has since been an integral part of the team, featuring for the side in all three consecutive Africa Cup campaigns.

The player who has transformed from a rugged performer to a calm but hard-tackling ball-playing defender extended his stay at the club’s secretariat on Thursday.

“It has been a privilege to spend two years at this club and the opportunity to continue my career here is an honour for me,” Wahab Adams told Kotoko Express App after the signing.

“It has not been an easy road as the team has gone through some ups and downs within the period of my stay here, but my life and work here have been the best in my professional career.”

“I am committed to continue repaying the Management, technical team, my colleague players and the supporters for the faith they have shown in me and the care that they continue to give me. I will work even harder from now since we have a target to achieve for ourselves and the club.”
