Ghana striker Majeed Waris was on target for FC Nantes as they magnificently defeated giants PSG by 3-2 IB the French Ligue 1.
The visitors broke the deadlock of the game through ex Barcelona defender, Dani Alves who dribbled into space just outside the box after a pass from Paredes and then sent a right-footed curler effort to the top-left corner into the host’s net.
Three minutes after, Brazilian defender Diego Carlos powered home captain Rongier’s cross to restore parity for the home side.
One the stroke of half time, Waris tapped home a beautiful connection to make it 2-1 for the Canaries.
Diego Carlos hit his double and the third for FC Nantes in the 52nd minute to leave the visitors wandering on the field.
P.S.G reduced the goal deficit through Guclu in the 89th minute to leave the scoring 3-2.
Waris made way for Limbombe in the 90th minute whiles Enoch Kwateng was introduced into the game in the 87th minutes for former Manchester United and Brazilian defender, Fabio
Da Silva.
Nantes F.C seem comfortably on the league table as they are currently 14th and will play 17th placed Amiens S.C on Sunday in the round 33 game of the ongoing competition.
