Ghana striker Abdul Majeed Waris did not have the best of nights after seeing red in Lorient’s 2-2 draw with Guingamp.
The Black Stars attacker could not last the entire duration of the game after receiving his marching orders in the 43rd minute for a reckless challenge on Guingamp attacker Jimmy Briand.
The 24-year-old was excellent during his time on the pitch before he was shown the exit 2 minutes to end the first half.
Cameroonian Bejamin Moukandjo scored twice for Lorient while Yannis Salibur and Jimmy Briand were on target for their team.
Waris will now miss his side’s League game against Troyes next week. The former BK Hacken attacker will only be available for selection when his side takes on PSG.
