Chief Executive Officer and founder of Right to Dream Academy Tom Vernon says his product Abdul Majeed Waris will be Ghana’s biggest revelation at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
The 22-year-old has been one of the most consistent players in the Black Stars set up during the World Cup qualifiers and for his Club Valenciennes.
“If you look at Waris’ strength, he is a real key player for Ghana because if you look at the pace at the top, we have a slightly older team now. Players who have been together for almost ten years now and he is a fresh one coming in who can have that pace injection upfront so I think he is going to be key for Ghana in Brazil”.
The Right to Dream Academy graduate has formed a formidable partnership with Ghana’s leading striker Asamoah Gyan.
Many are expecting a continuation of the effective striking partnership at the World Cup where the Black Stars will be facing Germany, Portugal and the USA in the group stage.
And the Ex Manchester United Scout who nurtured the prolific Striker says he expects the Player to have a big World Cup in Brazil.
