English-born Ghanaian striker Eddie Nketiah scored his first goal for Crystal Palace in their 2-1 win over Queens Park Rangers in the Carabao Cup.

Nketiah started the game for the Eagles to help them advance to the next round of the cup competition.

Eberechi Eze set up the 25-year-old forward to score his first goal for Palace in the 16th minute of the game.

Eze spotted Nketiah on the move from a free kick and put him through with a glorious pass, allowing the striker to hit a low shot past the QPR goalkeeper to score the opener.

QPR levelled up in the second half through Sam Field, but Eze put Palace ahead 11 minutes later.

Nketiah's goal comes ahead of Palace's next game against Manchester United in the Premier League.
