The retired Black Stars players palyed an Asamoah Gyan select-side on Wednesday after the commissioning the Gyan Sports Centre at the Accra Academy.
The opening event was attended by the Former President of Ghana FLt. Lt. Jerry John Rawlings and the Sports Hon. Minister Isaac Asimah.
The Ghana captain fully-funded the project which cost US$ 20,000.
The project comprises a 3,000 metre artificial turf which was imported from Turkey.There is a tartan track and dressing room available.
The ex players who featured in the game included Ibrahim Tanko, Laryea Kingston among others
