Inter Allies coach Herbert Addo believes this season's Ghana Premier League will be the most competitive in recent years.
Addo, who returned to handle the Tema-based side during the off-season for a second spell, says there as many as five genuine title contenders in the race.
"It would be very very competitive because if you look at all the clubs, we have AshGold and Medeama qualifying for Africa and whenever you qualify for Africa, it’s almost very difficult in the league," the experienced trainer told TV3 Sports.
"You have Kotoko, Hearts of Oak- two big names- you have the Chelseas (Berekum), Hasaacas, Aduanas who to my believe should have won the league last year.
"It’s going to be tough this year. Everybody will be going for it. May the best team win."
Inter Allies open their campaign against Aduana, a side he led to win the title in 2010, at home on Sunday, 21 February.
