Black Stars winger, Kamaldeen Sulemana, assisted the winning goal in Southampton's win over Stoke City in the English Football League Cup.
Kamaldeen Sulemana played an integral role in the victory despite starting from the bench in the Saints' 3-2 win at St. Mary's Stadium on Tuesday, October 29, 2024.
Southampton, who led the game by two goals after 34 minutes, let the lead slip as Stoke got themselves level by the 54th minute.
Kamaldeen changed the game after spending just 9 minutes on the pitch, replacing Jan Bednarek in the 81st minute.
He assisted the winning goal, setting up James Bree for a stunning goal from outside the box.
The game was his third of the season following his return from a long-term injury that kept him out of action for a little over two months.
