Ghanaian winger Kelvin Yeboah made an impressive debut for Minnesota United FC, netting twice in a 3-2 home defeat to the Seattle Sounders in Major League Soccer on Saturday night.

In the Matchweek 26 encounter at Allianz Field, Seattle took advantage of a midfield turnover by Minnesota’s Jefferson Diaz, with Jordan Morris opening the scoring in the 11th minute.

Minnesota leveled the score in the 24th minute when Yeboah converted a penalty awarded for a foul by Yeimar Gomez.

Seattle quickly regained the lead, with Jackson Ragen heading in a cross from Albert Rusnak shortly after.

Yeboah struck again in the 56th minute, equalizing with a well-placed left-footed shot following a pass from Wil Trapp.

However, Rusnak delivered the decisive blow in the 75th minute, scoring with a powerful right-footed shot from outside the box to secure Seattle's victory.

Yeboah, an Italian youth international, joined Minnesota United FC from Serie A side Genoa, where he struggled to make an impact.
