Ghanaian striker Kwabena Owusu scored a stunning goal against West Ham in a pre-season friendly match that featured Mohammed Kudus.

The Hungarian champions Ferencváros held West Ham United to a 2-2 stalemate in the match played on July 15, 2024.

The Ghanaian international broke the deadlock for Ferencváros in the 25th minute.

Kwabena Owusu scored with a superb half-volley that lobbed over West Ham goalkeeper Łukasz Fabiański and went inside near the crossbar.

The Hammers fought back as Kudus found himself winning a free kick and creating a chance shortly after they conceded but to no avail.

Ferencváros doubled their lead through Aleksandar Pešić, who scored the second goal eight minutes before half-time.

West Ham coach Julen Lopetegui made nine substitutions, which included Kudus, in the second half. The substitution paid off as Danny Ings, who replaced Kudus, reduced the deficit for the Premier League side.

Ings scored a wonderful free-kick that skipped off the wall and into the top left-hand corner of the net.

The Premier League side finally found the equalizer in the 90th minute with a sublime finish.

Andy Irving whipped in a cross, and Nayef Aguerd volleyed accurately into the net with his left foot to draw parity.
