Some Black Stars players have arrived in Ghana for their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations matchday three qualifying tie against Sudan.
Mohammed Kudus, Fatawu Issahaku, Mohammed Salisu, Elisha Owusu, Antoine Semenyo, Jojo Wollacott, Brandon Thomas-Asante, and Jordan Ayew are the first batch of players who arrived in the late hours of Sunday, October 6, 2024.
The next batch of players are expected to arrive today, October 7, with the first training sessions ahead of the game slated for later in the day at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Head coach Otto Addo named a 25-man squad for the game and thus expects to have a full house after their first training session.
The Black Stars have had a slow start to their qualifying campaign, losing one and drawing one of their opening two games.
Hence, they will need a win over the Falcons of Jediane to get their qualifying series back on track.
Ghana will face Sudan in a doubleheader with the first leg slated for October 10 in Accra and the return leg on October 15, 2024, in Libya.
