James Kwasi Appiah, the head coach of the Black Stars, made time to interact with some Ghanaian football lovers ahead of his team’s meeting with the Black Stars on Thursday, October 10, 2024.

In line with CAF regulations, Sudan, who are the away team, were given the chance to train at the Accra Sports Stadium on Wednesday, October 9, 2024.

After the training session, coach Kwasi Appiah fraternized with some persons present at the stadium, including Joseph Langabel.

Langabel jovially stated that the current Ghana Football Association leadership dismissed him and Kwasi Appiah from their Black Stars duties.

Coach Kwasi Appiah was, however, not present at the pre-match press conference, with his assistant, Ignatius Osei-Fosu, facing the press.

Osei-Fosu, who is the former coach of Dreams FC, protested what he contends to be a substandard pitch given to the team for training.

“Preparations have not been bad, but our only problem is the training pitch. It hasn’t been the best, but we will take it like that. We have not trained at the Accra Sports Stadium yet, but what we were given at St. Thomas Aquinas is not good,” he said.

The game is scheduled for 16:00 GMT at the Accra Sports Stadium and will be live on GhanaWeb.
