Nsoatreman FC teenager, Foster Apetorgbor, had a warm welcome from his classmates when he returned to school after winning the MTN FA Cup.
In a video sighted online, the 16-year-old Foster received loud cheers and applause from his classmates when he entered the classroom to resume schooling at Kumasi High School.
"I will use this opportunity to thank Kumasi High School for supporting me. It hasn't been easy but God being so good, I've managed to win so I will say I'm grateful," he said while addressing the class.
The teenager scored the winning penalty for Nsoatreman to win their first-ever major silverware.
Nsotreman won the FA Cup beating Bofoakwa Tano 5-4 on penalties after the match ended one-all after extra time.
Foster Apetorgbor, who is a final-year student, joined Nsoatreman after impressing the club's scouts at the Ashanti Regional inter-school games. He completed his move in January 2024.
