Jordan Ayew made the headlines earlier this week with a hattrick in the 2026 World Cup qualifier played between Ghana and the Central African Republic (CAR).
The game had a tense ending after the visitors scored their third goal at the end of regulation time.
With the score at 4-3 at that stage, the CAR team tried their best to get a fourth goal to take a point from the fixture played at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
Otto Addo's boys held on and grabbed all three points.
At the end of the game, however, tempers were still high between Ghana's hero on the night, Jordan Ayew and the skipper of the CAR team, Amos Youga.
In a video shared online, the two were at each other's throat after the final whistle, shoving each others and seemingly swearing at one another.
Players on both sides quickly intervened to douse the tension pulling both players apart.
It is not readily known what may have led to the near violent disagreement.
