Belgian top-flight side OH Leuven made light work of the Black Satellites, defeating the West African side 6-2 in a friendly on Sunday.
Since winning gold at the Africa Games in March this year, the Black Satellites have been inactive, and it appears the team has lost its bite.
Despite conceding six goals, the team managed to score two, including an own goal and one due to a goalkeeping error.
The Black Satellites are on a European tour as they prepare for the WAFU B Championship. Coach Desmond Offei will take advantage of the tour to assess his players.
They are expected to play a couple of friendly games before they return to Ghana at the end of their tour.
With a month-long tour ahead, the Black Satellites have ample opportunity to refine their skills and build a strong team dynamic.
OH Leuven, on the other hand, is preparing for the 2024/25 season as they aim to make an impact in the Belgian top-flight next season.
