Thomas Partey produced another masterful performance for Arsenal in their 3-2 win over Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, April 28, 2024.

The Ghanaian midfielder continued where he left off against Chelsea with another impressive outing for the Gunners, who are continuing their hunt for the league title in twenty years.

Arsenal got off to a quick start in the game, with an own goal from Spurs' Pierre-Emile Højbjerg setting them on the path to success.

Bukayo Saka and Kai Havertz scored in the 27th and 38th minute, respectively, to give Arsenal a commanding 3-0 lead in the first half.

However, Spurs were given a lifeline in the game after Arsenal goalie David Raya mistakenly passed into the path of defender Cristian Romero, who got one back for them.

Tottenham's dream of a comeback was nearly achieved after Son Heung Min converted a penalty to make it 3-2.

Arsenal, however, managed to withstand Tottenham's late onslaught in the dying minutes of the game to keep their title hopes alive.

In a game where Arsenal had their backs against the wall most of the time, Thomas Partey excelled greatly with his defensive and calming presence.

Tucked into midfield with Declan Rice, the 30-year-old midfielder shielded Arsenal's back four incredibly well with a number of timely tackles and interceptions.

Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta was highly impressed with Partey's performance and praised him after the game.

"He's a really important player, and we have missed him for many months. He looks in great shape. It's his presence, his quality, his physicality and his experience".
