Some Ghanaian Barcelona fans attended a thanksgiving service in church a day after trashing Real Madrid in the EL Classico.
In a video sighted by GhanaWeb, three Barcelona fans were spotted in their club jersey dancing in church as they gave thanks to God for their club's 0-4 win over arch-rivals Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu on October 26, 2024.
Robert Lewandowski scored a brace as Lamine Yamal and Raphinha added one each to secure the comprehensive away victory.
Madrid started the game on a high by creating some decent chances but failed to convert them.
In the second half, Barcelona began by pressurizing their opponents, which helped them create spaces for striker Robert Lewandowski to score a brace.
When the Galacticos decided to push men forward to find an equalizer, the Catalans capitalized on counter-attacks to add two more goals to seal an emphatic victory.
Prodigy Lamine Yamal and Raphinha netted the two goals while Madrid squandered their chances, with Mbappe’s two goals being ruled out for offside.
The astonishing win have propelled Barcelona to a six-point lead at the summit of the La Liga table.
