Asante Kotoko midfielder Umar Bashiru is confident of victory over Group C leaders Al Hilal in the CAF Confederations Cup on Sunday.
The Porcupine Warriors host the Sudanese champions in Kumasi in the penultimate game of the group, and victory will enhance their chances of progress to the quarter finals.
Bashiru, who started against Nkana in the absence of Senanu is likely to keep his place in the line up. The former WAFA midfielder says the team is poised for victory on Sunday.
“We are doing fine. We are strong. We didn’t lose any game during the second half. For me the most important is to win the game.
“Playing for Kotoko comes with a lot of pressure and pride, but we always try to do our best in every game. Hilal is a very good side, but we are poised to beat them tomorrow.”
In the other game of the group, Nkana FC will host rivals Zesco United.
