General Manager of Nsoatreman FC, Eric Alagidede, has reiterated his side's preparedness to represent Ghana in the CAF second-tier inter-club competition next season.
Nsoatreman are in the final of the 2023/24 FA Cup and will come up against rivals, Bofoakwa Tano at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium on June 23 with the winner expected to represent Ghana in the 2024/2025 CAF Confederation Cup.
Speaking about the final, Alagidede mentioned that the team is willing and ready to compete in the Confederations Cup.
“We are ready. Once we are in the final, we want to win it and go to Africa," he told Citi TV.
"Once we get the opportunity, we will play in the Africa competition and do well. It’s difficult that we have to play the final in Accra but don’t have an option.
“In our (Division One) playoff game against Tamale City FC, we brought a lot of fans to Accra over 30 buses.
"So it will be a similar thing we will organize more buses to bring more supporters to come and boost the support of the boys," he added.
Nsoatreman FC defeated Legon Cities 2-1 at the Red Bull Arena at Sogakope to book a place in the final.
