The Management of Accra of Oak has said, they have laid down and a solid foundation for the playing body to ensure a very competitive and successful season.
A statement signed by Mr. Kwame Opari-Larbi, Communications Manager, said the club has enjoyed a successful pre-season coupled with quality recruitment, despite initial hiccups and beliefs, the team would give a good account of themselves in the coming season.
"We can assure all supporters that the coming season would be a watershed year in which the Club would be put on the path to regaining its enviable position both locally and on the continent.
"However this mission just like anything in life would take some time to come to fruition. Consequently we would entreat all supporters to be patient and continue to rally behind the club." It noted.
The statement said, the Board, Management, Technical team and the playing body are all determined to ensure that the club will not only do well this season but subsequent ones.
"Every aspect of the club is being transformed to make it not only a model of “good football club” but crucially a sustainably profitable entertainment business.
"As part of the efforts at transforming the club, we are pleased to announce to the public that Accra Hearts of Oak will admit children up to the age of 16 years free entry to all home matches beginning this Sunday against New Edubiase United at the Accra Sports Stadium." It noted
