We are ready to beat Hearts - Ahmed Adams

Asante Kotoko Asante Kotoko

Asante Kotoko defender, Ahmed Adams, says Accra Hearts of Oak benefited from wrong penalty call in their last league encounter at the Accra Sports Stadium, but they are poised for victory this time round.

The two glamorous clubs in Ghana lock horns in an outstanding week 23 fixture slated for the Babayara Sports in a match dubbed the Super Clash, as they renew their rivalry in a match which could determine who steps up the gear for annexing the 2016/17 Ghana Premier League title.

According to Adams, Referee Samuel Sukah got it wrong when he awarded Hearts a penalty which enabled them to secure all three points back in May. But Adams says this time round they have set sights on revenge.

“I’ve said and will always say that Hearts benefited from a wrong penalty in Accra. The ball never hit my hand. I pray God will give me the strength to help us get revenge” Adams told the club’s website.

The match kick starts at 3:00 pm local time.
