Ghana international, Antoine Semenyo, has indicated that the Black Stars are trusting head coach Otto Addo to qualify the team for the next Africa Cup of Nations tournament.
The AFC Bournemouth forward was part of the Black Stars squad that featured at the 2023 AFCON in Ivory Coast.
Unfortunately, the Black Stars could not impress at that tournament and exited at the end of the group stage.
Speaking on the disappointment from the AFCON, Antoine Semenyo says it is now in the past.
He said the Black Stars are now trusting the process under coach Otto Addo and want to qualify for the 2025 AFCON and the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
"AFCON is in the past now. We have a new plan, we are trusting the manager, we have a good team, so yeah, we are just trusting the process and hopefully, we can qualify for the AFCON and the World Cup, and we can show what we can do," Antoine Semenyo told the media on Friday.
Ghana takes on Mali and the Central African Republic on June 6 and June 10, respectively.
