Assistant coach Dauda Lutterodt is confident the home-based national team will get a favourable result against Ivory Coast on Sunday in their 2016 CHAN final qualifying round first leg tie.

The team, mostly built around star players of the just ended Ghana Premier League, have been in fine form since opening camp three weeks ago.

They have been playing warm-up games against lower division sides while their opponents Ivory Coast drew 1-1 with Cameroon last week.

But Lutterodt, who has been taking charge of the team in the absence of Maxwell Konadu, says the team are in fine fettle for the clash.

“Going into the game on Sunday, I can confidently tell you we are well prepared for the Ivorians,” he told Joy Sports.

“My head coach wasn’t around but because of technology we were always in touch and we communicated very well as to the team’s progress.

“We have worked out everything so just wait and see what will happen on Sunday when we take on the Ivorians.”
