Ghana defender, John Boye says the Black Stars have the requisite materials to tame Cristiano Ronaldo when the two sides clash in Group G of the 2014 World Cup.
The Black Stars’ third group match will be against the Selecao on June 26, 2014.
Ronaldo’s goal scoring prowess in the build-up to the World Cup makes him a ‘beast’ for any defence in the world.
But Boye believes the 28-year-old can be accounted for by the Ghanaian defence.
“I think that if we prepare well, we can handle Ronaldo.
“He is a very good player but I will do my best to handle him if I am selected for that match,” the 26-year-old told Kumasi based, Nhyira FM.
USA and Germany are the other teams in Group G.
