Senegal under-20 coach Joseph Koto believes Saturday's win over Ghana puts his side in pole position to reach the 2017 Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations.
The coach is in confident mood after watching his team record a 3-1 victory in the final round first leg encounter at the Demba Diop Stadium, Dakar.
"It's a good result but nothing is done in the direction of qualification," Koto told Cafonline.com.
"We will start the second leg as if it was 0-0 in the first leg.
"It is a welcome serenity for what the players showed throughout the game.
"They did not panic despite the quality of the opponent, [who are] known for [their] strength in youth football.
"We will go to Ghana and look for a positive result. With the team we have, we fear no one."
Ghana host the second encounter in a fortnight, with the winner joining six other teams, together with host Zambia, for the final championship next year.
