We lost to an experienced side - Sadite Sarr

Coach of Olympic de Ngor Sadite Sarr has said he lost to an experienced Hearts of Oak side in the first leg of the second round Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) Confederations Cup played at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.

Hearts came from a goal deficit to secure victory ahead of the second leg in Senegal in two weeks.

According to the coach, his charges lost the game to a better side with lots of experience.

He said “We lost to a team that has a lot of experience. When Hearts come for the return leg, we will yield better results with our preparation.

"Hearts has a good team and I did not have a fair idea about them. But now that we have played them, I will map-up a different strategy but not to make changes in my setup because my team is also good. "We have seen our mistakes and we will strategize well when they come for the away match’’.

Sarr added that, ‘‘we got the first goal but a little problem with the referee who was on the side of Hearts. So we sat back and relaxed a bit and that accounted for our defeat. That was the reason we could not defend well to score another goal but the return leg will be different.’’

Hearts hold a 2-1 advantage heading into the second league in Senegal.
