Executive Council member of the Ghana Football Association, Nana Oduro Sarfo says the slogan #BringBackTheLove slogan was carefully chosen to try and restore the love and goodwill the Black Stars once enjoyed.

The team were given a warm reception by supporters in Cape Coast as the team prepared and played their match against South Africa.

"The slogan (#Bringbackthelove) was chosen because we wanted to do something that will let Ghanaians love the Black Stars again because the love for the team was gone" he told Ashh Fm.

He was however grateful to the teeming fans who made way to the Cape Coast Stadium to throw their support behind the senior national team.

"We thank Ghanaians for their support but it's early days yet to sing praises because the work has just started"

"We are planning of taking the team to other regions for everyone to have a feel of the National team"

"We are preparing towards our game against Sao Tome Principe on Monday" he disclosed
