Hearts of Oak Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Frederick Moore has assured fans that the club will soon hire an assistant coach to help head coach Edward Nii Odoom.

The club is without an assistant coach with Nii Odoom working alone since January.

Nii Odoom was named substantive coach following the sacking of Kim Grant after the former Black Stars striker lost his first match of the season against Berekum Chelsea at home.

" For an assistant coach we will get one, we will get one very soon," Mr Moore told Asempa FM, adding that; "we want to make sure that we get the best assistant coach that we can have so the board will not be in a rush to appointing anybody.

"The head coach is aware of the work that is going on behind the scene to get him the best support that he can get."

Currently, the season is on suspension following government's decision to ban all public activities due to spread of coronavirus pandemic.
