Aduana Stars midfield anchor, Seth Opare is confident of a victory over struggling Asante Kotoko in this weekend’s Ghana Premier league showdown at the Agyemang Badu Park in Dormaa.
According to him, the ‘Ogya Lads’ are highly motivated to continue their recent good run of form against the porcupine warriors at the Dormaa.
”Yes we the players are aware of the record of matches between Aduana Stars and Kotoko here in Dormaa, we are not complacent about that, but that’s enough motivation for us to get a result at our favorite park and prolong the records especially after experiencing a terrible start in this year’s league”, Opare said in an interview.
He added that: “The coach has told us to relax, not to panic because this is not the first time we are playing Kotoko at Dormaa.I can say preparations have gone well for us and we will adhere to his tactics and game plan on the field and surely we will win the match for our fans”.
Aduana stars started the season on an unimpressive note, losing their first three matches but results seem to improve following the departure of Coach Nurudeen Ahmed amidst controversies.
The club eventually re-appointed former trainer, AristicaChioba and the club and has won one and drawn one of his two matches since the Romanian took charge.
