Ghana FA boss Kwesi Nyantakyi will be forced to contest for next year’s Ghana Football Association presidency election, according Western Regional football Association chairman Kojo Yankah.
According to Mr. Yankah, there’s any capable successor for Nyantakyi and thus want the CAF first vice President to continue ruling Ghana football.
Nyantakyi has been president for over a decade and is willing to step down when his current tenure expires next year.
Nyantakyi has reiterated his desire to seek reelection, paving way for his Vice George Afriyie to openly declare his intentions to contest.
“He has said publicly that he won’t contest again but we will force him to contest, we know what he is doing for us” he told Asempa FM in Accra.
