Dreams FC Manager Karim Zito says they are going to implement a new philosophy in relations to youth development at the club.
Zito who and his assistant Winfred Dormon returned from a two-week training course at Bundesliga II side Greuther Furth insists that he will be going the German way as special players will be given special attention for their development.
“We learnt the scientific method of player development that implies who the player you are developing really is, whether he can think for himself and solve problems or he always depend on someone,” Zito told footballmadeinghana.com
“We will give special talents in the team special training to enhance them, we will set a goal for them that is maybe in the space of two months they must be able to do this or that. We will train them one on one and work on their deficiencies,”
“I also met the Athletic coach of Greuther Furth and gave him my eight-week plan ahead of the Premier League season. We don’t have the apparatus they have at their disposal for their work but we also have the mind.” Zito added.
Dreams FC have already qualified to next season’s Ghana Premier League with two games left in the Division One.
