We will stop players from social media – Opoku Nti

Chief Executive Officer of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Opoku Nti has threatened to deal with the playing body ruthlessly in the near future if they go contrary to camp rules.

According to Opoku Nti, players of Kotoko will be stopped from using any social media platform during camp time.

He says the excessive use of social media prevents the players from having enough time to relax.

He made these comments on the back of the team’s failure to qualify to the next stage of the CAF Champions League on Sunday after they were defeated by MC Eulma in Kumasi.

“The players don’t sleep all because of Facebook and whatsapp, as a player you need more than 8 hours of sleep but these players don’t”.

“It’s sad we are out of the competition and going forward we will do this, stop them from all social media so that they will get enough time to sleep”.
