tarTimes emerged winners of the competitive bidding process after the GFA accepted their offer worth USD$5.25 million, which was the best among other bids on January 8, 2020.
Previously the Chinese media company refused to telecast games at certain match venues because of what they described as ‘not television-friendly centres’ before the league was truncated in 2018 but they have assured Ghanaians that they will show live games across the various venues in Ghana.
Speaking on the Ultimate Sports Show on Asempa FM, she said “I assure you that this season with our OB van, we will travel the length and breadth of Ghana for exclusives coverage of the League.
StarTimes will continue their 2019/20 Ghana Premier League coverage with Great Olympics vs Karela and Inter Allies vs Elimina Sharks after starting with the Hearts of Oak and Ebusua Dwarfs clash at the Accra Sports Stadium over the weekend.
