We will win the League - WA All Stars CEO

Oduro Nyarko Oduro Nyarko

Chief Executive Officer of Wa All Stars Oduro Nyarko insists the Blues will win the Ghana Premier League.

The Wa-based side are currently top of the Ghana Premier League after the first round of matches. All Stars have been outstanding this season having beaten the traditional powerhouses in Ghana including Accra Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko. They also have the meanest defence after conceding only nine goals in 15 games.

Speaking on Kumasi Based radio station ASH FM, Oduro Sarfo revealed they recorded an amount of seven thousand Ghana cedis after playing Kotoko.

“We had ghc7,000 when we played Kotoko in the first round, and that is a record for us,” he said.

Wa All-stars beat Kotoko 1-0 in that game. However, people have questioned their ability to continue such a good run. He then added, “We spend over Ghc10,000 per game, we are lying on top of the league table, and people call us land guards, we will surprise them, they should keep on calling us land guards.”

“We will give both Hearts of Oak and Kotoko a run for their money because they will be fighting to win the league” – Wa All Stars CEO Mr. Oduro Nyarko on ASHH FM
